Does a seller's name on loan documents need to be printed or signed?

I have a seller’s closing and I have an addendum that is after the warranty deed with vendor lien. It needs to be filled out with the seller’s information name, address, SSN, email, phone etc. Is the name in this form to be printed or signed?D. O., Tennessee

It depends on the printed instructions – for example, does it specify ‘Name’ on the printed line, or does it specify ‘Signature’? If it is still unclear, you must contact the preparer to receive instructions.

Helpful! Always great for notaries to verify before appearing before the signer.
