If a deed has been notarized and the person did not record it before the expiration date, can a Notary re-stamp it to validate it?E.P., Indiana

It is unclear what you mean by “expiration date.” We suggest that you contact an attorney before you or any other Notary re-notarizes the deed. As a Notary, you are not authorized to offer legal advice regarding what steps are required to ensure a deed is valid.

When it comes to contacting an attorney for notary issues do you call any attorney or is there a special type of attorney at law that I can google to add to the contact list ahead of time?

Hello. It would depend on the type of issue you need legal advice for.
