May I Type A Document For A Customer And Then Notarize It?

New Hotline Resized 3I work in a hospital and am often asked to notarize Acknowledgment of Paternity forms for unmarried parents. Some of the parents have asked to me to type the forms for them since their handwriting is illegible. Am I allowed to type it for them and notarize it? A.C., New Mexico
