To commemorate Veterans Day on November 11, the National Notary Association is introducing a new Medal Of Honor Notary journal this week in honor of those who served in our armed forces. We’ll be donating part of the proceeds to support and promote awareness of veterans and their achievements.
The Medal of Honor is the highest award presented to U.S. military personnel, and is awarded by Congress to recognize exceptional bravery in combat above and beyond the call of duty. Our journal is a way to say “thank you” to our valiant servicemen and women, and $5 from each sale will be donated to the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, which supports efforts to educate students and the public about the values embodied in the Medal of Honor.
Whether you’re a Notary who served in the military or you’d like to recognize a family member or friend’s military service, the Medal Of Honor journal is a great way to show your appreciation for our veterans.
In addition to the journal, the NNA will again offer complimentary Notary training for U.S. veterans during its annual Conference in Anaheim, California. Fully funded by the National Notary Foundation — the NNA’s philanthropic arm — the vocational Notary training is designed to help veterans enhance their skills or start a small business as a mobile Notary. This is the fourth year this training has been offered to veterans, so keep an eye out for details on the NNA 2016 website.
