Where in my state can I perform my Notary duties?

Can a Notary Public serve statewide or just the county in which they are registered?A.D., Alabama

Hotline answers are based on the laws in the state where the question originated and may not reflect the laws of other states. If in doubt, always refer to your own state statutes. – The Editors

If a notary does not know the answer to this question already, then all their notary services would be questionable. NNA - please post more complex questions. Everything you post are either too specific to a location or they are basic questions that all legitimate notaries should know the answers to already.
