On the jurat certificate where I enter “State of __ and County of ___”, is this meant for the county that my commission is recorded in, or should it be the county that I am in at the time of notarization? — S.H., Nevada
It’s the latter. You should always indicate the county where you are performing the notarization in a jurat or other notarial certificate.
