I took your survey and most of your questions are not offensive, your question about income and expense is, respectfully; NONE Of YOUR BUSINESS. We are being paid to perform a service corporationss, attorneys and private business chose NOT TO DO ... We don't make enough. If that comment is hard to understand please look further unto who ISN'T going to signers locations ... and why.

I've only been a NSA for a few months, and have only been accepting small jobs due to only having a personal printer. I have now ordered a more robust printer and plan to do more refinancing jobs to make more money. I appreciated the advice I received here in the Bulletin as to what printers others are using.

Hoping to continue to build this business. Also hoping our value is understood one day and some of these companies appreciate our time and expenses and stop trying to under pay us.

Due to COVID and my age, I currently only do notary services for the residents of the Mobile Home Park where I live. It is a 55+ park and so far, we have not had a case of COVID. I am hoping to expand my business in 2021 if it becomes safer. I did do many services for the residents at the S. AZ Home for Vets located just 4 miles from my home, but they currently have restrictions that basically prevent me from doing this. I plan to discuss with the Social Services department ways in which I could service these individuals.

I don't feel that our income and expenses should be a requirement on this survey.

I live in a small community, and all of my present Notary business is here in my community. Due to the pandemic, I had more business in the months from March to October than usual during a normal year.

I suggest adding a separate question regarding the population where we work. I answered that I live in an area with less then 10,000. However, I commute to work, to a city of 2.5 million.

I was impacted by the inability to take a live proctored exam until the end of July 2020 due to COVID, then having to wait months longer than usual to get commissioned by the CA Secretary of State due to the state's backlog and having fewer employees available to process notary applications, also the extra duress of convincing clients of my COVID-safe communication and document handling procedures, as well as taking on the risk every time I meet with clients to notarize documents as I am in a high-risk health category for COVID.
