NotaryCam hiring Notaries and Signing Agents to perform RONs

Ron-April-2-resized.jpg

NotaryCam is looking to hire Notaries across every remote online notarization (RON) state to meet growing monthly demand for hundreds of thousands of RON transactions. Currently, demand is highest for Notaries in Virginia, Florida, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Utah, and Montana, but opportunities are open to Notaries located in all states where RON is permanently authorized. NotaryCam prefers Notaries with experience in the legal or real estate industries.

All Notaries applying with NotaryCam need to pass the NNA background check. Applicants for any RON-approved state other than Virginia, Montana and Utah must be Notary Signing Agents with the following qualifications:

  • Pass a NNA background check;
  • Be a NNA Certified Signing Agent; and
  • Possess a digital certificate, which is available through the NNA.

NotaryCam is offering to guide Notaries through the commissioning process to perform RONs, but given COVID-19, there may be some delays in processing those applications so it is a plus if Notaries are already qualified. All Notaries will be thoroughly trained to use NotaryCam software and meet the high standards signers and enterprise clients have come to expect from NotaryCam. To apply, visit https://www.notarycam.com/notarycam-application/.

If I receive background check and certification through Notary.com and are a full-term member of NAA, do I need to redo for the NNA?

National Notary Association

28 Oct 2024

Hello. The NNA Certification Program is effective for one year. Lenders and title companies typically require background screenings be performed annually. They want screenings no more than one year old at the time of loan signings. Your Certification date is the date your background screening was completed. Renewing NSAs should know the screening takes 5-15 days, and they should begin the renewal prior to the one-year term to avoid a gap in certification.

Is NC setup with RON?

National Notary Association

07 Aug 2023

No, remote online notarization is not allowed in North Carolina. RON will be effective 7/1/24. NC does allow Electronic Video Notarization (EVN). During EVN, the Notary and signer appear remotely. The document is either mailed or transmitted by electronic means to the Notary for notarization.

I realize this article is old but I've been applying to NotaryCam since the fall of last year. I never get a confirmation email of my submission or hear any response- even a denial. Very frustrated that they're an "approved" RON provider in the state of NV and can't even respond to an application in over 6 months.

"In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, notary services remain suspended at the U.S. Embassy in Manila and at the Consular Agency in Cebu, including for the “Affidavit of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage.” If you need something notarized urgently, you may want to consider one of these alternatives: Remote Online Notarization (United States): This method of notarization currently is permitted in some form in 28 of the 50 states.  The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac have issued guidance to lenders and other firms to consider accepting Remote Online Notarizations during the COVID-19 crisis." -US embassy website Is it possible to have REMOTE ONLINE notarization of divorce papers with the defendant in the Philippines and the plaintiff in New York?
