The next installment of the NNA's "Commonly Asked Questions" webinar series will be held Friday, January 27 addressing the important topic: How to ID in a Multi-Cultural World. A total of three webinar sessions will be held due to increased demand.
Following on the heels if the popular December webinar, which focused on the Proper Use of Credible Witnesses in Notarial Acts, this month's How to ID in a Multi-Cultural World will address:
- What happens when the name on a document does not match the ID?
- In what situations do you use alternative IDs?
- What are the responsibilities for a Notary in these situations?
The three 30-minute webinars are available exclusively to NNA members at no additional cost. Sessions are scheduled at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. Pacific Time, and will be available on demand at a later date.
Each will feature 15 minutes of instruction by NNA Seminar Instructor Susi Sivkov, a Notary education expert who instructs more than 125 seminars a year. The final 15 minutes will be devoted to questions and answers addressing the most commonly asked questions regarding how to identify signers.
