Summary

The Washington Department of Licensing has adopted an administrative rule to increase the maximum fees a Notary may charge. 

Affects

Amends Section 308-30-220 of the Washington Administrative Code.  

Changes
  1. Raises the maximum fee Notaries may charge for notarial acts from $10 to $15. 
Analysis

Notaries in Washington receive a welcome raise in the maximum fees they may charge for notarial acts. Notary fees were last increased by administrative rule in 2006 when the fee was raised from $5 to $10.
