Summary
The Kansas Secretary of State has adopted permanent regulations to implement the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts.

Changes
- Makes permanent the temporary regulations published for comment on July 7, 2022, without change. (The provisions of the temporary regulations may be found in the new law update on the temporary regulations.)
AnalysisThe Kansas Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts (RULONA), which took effect on January 1, 2022, through the enactment of Chapter 64 of 2021 (Senate Bill 106), required the Secretary of State to adopt regulations to implement the Act. These permanent regulations take effect on October 28, 2022, replacing the temporary regulations effective June 30, 2022, and expiring on October 28, 2022.
