Why Pick the NNA as Your Notary Bond Provider

To become a Notary in Illinois, you must complete a state-approved training course and exam, submit a Notary Public Application, and purchase a surety bond of $5,000 or $30,000. The NNA is a trusted provider of Notary bonds and supply packages. Our supply packages are all-inclusive and provide you with your bond, state-required training and exam, stamp, journal, appointment fee, and access to our live NNA hotline for your entire four-year commission. Plus, we provide you with a checklist of the steps your state requires to complete the appointment process.

Non-residents must fill out a non-resident application and purchase a supply package that includes a $5,000 or $30,000 surety bond for a one-year appointment if they wish to become a Notary in Illinois.

The NNA is not a commissioning authority. You are appointed and commissioned by the Illinois Index Department.
