Senate Bill 3513 exempts licensed attorneys, judges, or employees of licensed attorneys or the court, from taking the mandatory education courses for a Notary Public and Electronic Notary Public commission.
Authorizes the Illinois Secretary of State to develop and issue mobile driver’s licenses (mDLs) and identification cards (mIDs).

Illinois is the first state to enact the Uniform Electronic Estate Planning Documents Act (UEEPDA), authorizing Notaries to use electronic signatures on electronic nontestamentary estate planning records.
