As Vice President, Corporate Escrow Administrator for Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (FNF) Diana Hoffman provides training solutions for settlement service providers, implements policy and procedure, and gives expert assistance in the escrow process to its employees and agents nationwide. FNF is the holding company for Alamo Title, Chicago Title, Commonwealth Land Title, Fidelity National Title, Lawyer’s Title, Ticor Title and Security Union. Diana began her career with Fidelity in 1992 working for their flagship operation in Tucson, AZ.

Prior to becoming Corporate Escrow Administrator in 2004, she worked as an Account Manager focusing on residential resale transactions. It was in this position where she first mastered the art of public speaking by teaching real estate professionals how to read listing packages and title reports. In 2000 she transitioned into escrow where she closed multi-million dollar commercial acquisitions, builder transactions and residential resale including first time homebuyer programs.

As an escrow administrator Diana has traveled to 25 states and provided training to settlement service providers through live classes. She also presents on settlement related topics on web casts and web based training modules. On numerous occasions she has presented at land title and escrow association conferences. She is well known nationwide for her entertaining and informative presentations on all types of settlement related issues.

Diana also specializes in forensic analysis. She was instrumental in investigating a fraud scheme wherein the perpetrators defrauded HUD for over $1.7 million by convincing lenders to accept short sales using fraudulent appraisals and straw buyers. Diana assisted by auditing over 200 files which established the modus operandi and provided crucial evidence. She currently authors and speaks to the real estate and settlement industry on several topics including, Cyber Security, RESPA, the Integrated Mortgage Disclosures, which combine the disclosures consumers receive under the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA) and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), IRS Reporting requirements and Claims Prevention and Awareness.
