The National Notary Foundation is sponsoring free Notary training for veterans at NNA 2013 Conference on Monday, June 3, at the Austin Renaissance Hotel, and just a few days remain to take advantage of it.
Veterans from every branch of the military are invited to participate in one of two free training workshops (1) New Notary Training or (2) Notary Signing Agent Training. At the completion of Option 2, participants have an opportunity to take the Texas State certification exam and undergo background screening at a discounted rate of $70.
The NNF, the philanthropic arm of the National Notary Association, has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars since 1997 to make a difference in the world. This year, the free career training is being provided to military veterans as a “thank you” for their service to our country.
Space is limited for this valuable offer and pre-registration is required. Interested vets must pre-register no later than Tuesday, May 28, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (800) 876-6827. On the day of the event, participants will need to provide one of the following forms of identification:
- Veteran’s Identification Card (VIC) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Texas Driver’s License bearing a Veteran’s designation
- A copy of DD Form 214
- Certificate of Veteran Status
If you know of veterans who would benefit from this unprecedented free training, please pass on the information.
