NNA Virtual Seminar Focuses On Trends, Regulations Impacting NSAs

The National Notary Association will host a 60-minute webinar, titled “Tracking Emerging Trends Affecting NSAs,” on Thursday, Sept. 22 which will focus on the economic, industry, regulatory and legal trends currently impacting Notary Signing Agents.

Offered at no charge to NNA members, the virtual seminar will explore a number of timely topics important to NSAs, including trends in the housing market, information about the federal “Know Before You Owe” program, recent legislation that could impact Notaries and NSAs, and a recent class action lawsuit from Alabama that could affect how NSAs charge and collect fees.

The session — which begins at 10:30 a.m. PT — will be presented by Bill Anderson, the NNA’s Vice President of Best Practices and eNotarization, who is also an experienced Signing Agent himself. A brief Q&A segment will follow the live instruction, and the recorded webinar will be made available for viewing shortly thereafter.
