Resident of county in which applying; Non-residents of Georgia must be
regularly employed in the county in which application is submitted
Possess and provide at time of application an operating telephone number
Hold valid driver's license, U.S. passport, voter identification card or identification
issued by local/state/U.S. government
Not had Notary commission or any professional license in any state revoked,
suspended or restricted
Not been engaged in the unauthorized practice of law as found by the State Bar
of Georgia
Must read, write and understand English
