Obtain Your State-Required Seal and Recommended Supplies

The NNA will provide everything you need to become a Notary in Iowa, including your official seal stamp, state-recommended journal and supplies.

Complete Your Iowa Notary Application and Training

To become a Notary in Iowa, you must follow the directions and fully complete the application on the Iowa Secretary of State website. Print and sign your name exactly as you would like your commission to be issued.

3.

Become a Iowa Notary Public

To complete the process of becoming an Iowa Notary, fax a copy of your Commission Certificate that you received from the state to 1-800-833-1211 in order to receive your official seal or send a copy to National Notary Association, Notary Seal Processing, 9350 De Soto Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311-4926.
